Job Description

As a Construction Supervisor at Tata Steel, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities at various project sites. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of construction projects in adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements. Your responsibilities will involve supervising construction activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Project Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and leadership for construction projects, ensuring adherence to project... plans, specifications, and timelines.

Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper allocation of resources, adherence to safety regulations, and timely completion of deliverables.

Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on the construction site, ensuring compliance with Tata Steel's safety policies and procedures.

Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Resource Management: Coordinate the availability and allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to support efficient construction operations.

Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement measures to keep projects on schedule.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience in mechanical construction and project management within the steel industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of steelmaking LD shop operations, piping systems, structural components, and material handling systems within a steel plant.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the steel industry, with a focus on mechanical construction
