The Role We're looking for intermediate/senior civil or environmental engineers to join our teams in Invercargill and Christchurch.
These roles offer the opportunity for end-to-end involvement, from design through to construction supervision on a diverse range of exciting land development and civil infrastructure projects throughout... New Zealand.
The requirements of the roles are flexible to suit the successful candidate, but may include the following:
Investigation, planning and design of 3 waters systems (land development or infrastructure context; Experience with storm water attenuation and treatment design, and on-site wastewater systems would be valued) Geometric design of roading and earthworks Contract management and quality assurance of construction projects Procurement, including preparation of specifications and tender documents.
Development of standardised processes as part of continuous improvement, and mentoring junior staff Project and job management About You Our ideal candidate will bring a great attitude and high level of enthusiasm to their work, as well as an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with our clients, colleagues, Councils, consultants and other stakeholders.
Strong time management and organisational skills are important, and you will have a focus on professional development, actively seeking out learning opportunities whenever possible.
A passion for maximising the potential of projects and developments for the benefits of our clients and New Zealand is non-negotiable! To be successful in this role you will also:
Hold a Civil / Environmental Engineering qualification (ideally CPENG or working towards this) Be proficient in the use of Civil 3D, or have experience in 12D and be willing to transition (experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM would be a bonus) Have at least 5 years' design experience in a variety of roading and 3 waters applications Be willing to get stuck in wherever you can!
