JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of software systems that meets customer requirement.The role also involves sitting within the IT team of a business, and will be involved in liaising with the Business Analysts and Development... Managers to ensure software projects meet requirement.RequirementsCandidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree / B.Eng / B.Sc qualification with 4 - 5 years work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strong background in PHP and some of its framework (Laravel/Lumen particularly)Understanding of the SOLID programming principlesExpertise working with packages and other developers’ codebasesDedication to TDD Experience designing, integrating, and writing APIsExpertise working with relational databasesExperience with modern-day development tools including version control, preprocessors, task runners, etc.Experience with cloud computing architecturesComfortable with linux servers and some dev-opsDesire to work with project managers, designers, and other developersExcellent verbal and time management skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlinesExperience working in small cross functional Agile teams to build complex systems.
