This position will see you... working on the Day Shift from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, responsible for overseeing approximately 10 employees.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the daily co-ordination of warehouse shift operations
• Ensure all budgeting targets are adhered to
• Ensure all customer orders are picked, checked and loaded by staff with high levels of accuracy
• Ensure all delivery vehicles are loaded as per Driver/Run requirements
• Provide continual guidance in mentoring and career development for staff
• Maintain communication with Supervisors, Branch Managers and Sales team
• Assist management and support all Stock Control, Replenishing and Supply Chain objectives
• Ensure all administrative tasks and paperwork requirements are completed in a timely manner with high levels of accuracy

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
• Experience and understanding of warehouse and distribution functions
• Leadership skills with proven experience in people management
• Knowledge/Experience in a cold store environment
• Well developed interpersonal skills including being able to motivate others and create a great team environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexible and reliable
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Drivers licence and Forklift licence is essential (HR truck license is preferable)
