Bamboo Apps is looking for a Senior Embedded developer (C/C++) to join its new projects.

You can work on-site in our R&D center in Minsk, Belarus or remote.

Main purpose: development of V2X (vehicle-to-everything) solution for EU automotive company. The solution consists of software for vehicle on-board units (OBU), road side units (RSU) and server (cloud) infrastructure.

Embedded developer responsibilities:
• Communicate with automotive OEM’s, HW development and server (cloud) SW platform teams to determine embedded SW requirements, design goals and deadlines
• Design and write the SW for V2X On-Board Units (OBU) and V2X Roadside Unis (RSU) based... on Linux and ThreadX OS
• Participate in OBU integration and test with the vehicle electronics systems
• Participate in RSU integration and test with server (cloud) SW platform and with road / ITS infrastructure devices and sub-systems
• Contribute to the embedded SW technical documentation development
• Supervise and advice middle and junior embedded SW development engineers.

Qualification requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in embedded SW development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Experience with a complete life-cycle of an embedded SW system
• Proficient in C and (or) C++
• Knowledge of modern OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and hardware interfaces
• Experience in SW development based on Linux and (or) ThreadX OS
• Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration and DevOps
• Good communication skills and the ability to project manage
• High-level writing and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with SW configuration tools.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Excellent time-management skills
• English level B1 or higher.

Would be beneficial:
• Experience in C-ITS SW stack development and certification
• Experience in automotive embedded SW development
• Linux device drivers’ development experience
• Familiarity with vehicle buses such as CAN, J1850, LIN, FlexRay, MOST
• Wireless communications SW development experience.
