Responsibilities:

Design electronics for various new and legacy products.
Schematic design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, Bill-of-material (BOM) generation, components selection/validation and costing preparation.
Collaborate with counterparts on product development progress, from design, development of electronics parts to final production.
Formulate test method for functional and reliability test from modular components level to product level.
Document engineering details including BOM, Gerber, embedded firmware, test requirements, etc.
Support and maintenance of existing product design including value engineering.
Work closely with procurement team in component sourcing, product costing and value analysis to support development effort.
Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years' relevant working experience.
Familiar with global regulatory standards to ensure specifications and requirements... compliance.
Knowledge of Microcontroller and Microprocessor.
Knowledge of different types of sensing technologies (PIR, microwave, ultrasonic, TOF and etc.) will be ad added advantage.
Experience in C/ C++ and assembly programming language.
Experience in embedded systems programming and IDEs.
Experience in product design using at least one wireless communication protocol (example Wi-Fi, BLE, NB-IOT, Lora WAN) will be an advantage.
