As a Software Engineer (Front-end), you'll work with a team of engineers through challenging development projects. Come join a highly collaborative team of skilled engineers with a passion for quality.

This position can be remote in the United States. Ideal candidates MUST be comfortable working EST hours.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

- Cooperate in an agile environment Product Management team AND Product Design teams in completing user stories and high-fidelity comps.

- Collaborate on implementations with backend PHP & .NET team members (in addition to other Frontend Engineers across half a... dozen other teams) through projects in React, serverside NodeJS, Socket.

io, Angular & Smarty (maintenance) and MooTools / Jquery (deprecation)

- Work with QA and Application Support teams to triage bugs

- Work with DevOps to automate build, deployment and distribution of SPAs and static assets

- Consume Restful APIs, JSON payloads and various payload contexts

- Build new Portals / Applications with React, while making incremental enhancements to monolithic legacy applications (serverside rendered)

- Write Unit tests and documentation

Minimum Technical Qualifications ?? :

5+ years professional experience as a senior level individual contributor OR 2+ years from a high growth startup that scaled to >10 engineering resources

- Either SME on ReactJS & ES6 or pixel perfect HTML / CSS / JS w / UX, or both!

- Advanced level of JavaScript frameworks such as React OR Typescript

- Experience implementing Socket.io with message queues

- Understanding Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests and conflict resolution utilizing Bitbucket or Github

Preferred Technical Qualifications ?? :

- WebRTC (Twilio implementation) AND experience building browser extensions

- RabbitMQ and Redis implementation on NodeJS

- NodeJS implementations on Azure Functions or VMs using Forever / PM2

- Full stack experience with PHP or Dotnet Core including GraphQL

- Prior experience leveraging issue tracking systems / wikis for documentation (Jira / Confluence)

- Exposure to CentOS Linux concepts, command line, SSH, SFTP, SCP

What We Offer :

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $150,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.

Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
