Job Description: Legal Secretary
A Legal Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to lawyers and other legal professionals in a law firm or legal department. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and contracts
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars for lawyers and legal professionals
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails from clients and other parties
• File and maintain legal records and documents
• Perform other... administrative tasks as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
