ABOUT THE JOB:

We are looking for a talented, entrepreneurial, and inspirational individual to:
• Together with your team, you will create concepts and model business processes in the field of product data and master data management.
• You are also involved in the introduction, conception, and optimization of our PIM, MDM and MAM systems.
• Together with the team, you will participate in workshops for requirement engineering as well as presentation about results of your implementation.
• In addition to recording customer requirements and designing customer-specific solutions, you will develop and implement concepts for classification and data models.
• Identify and collect appropriate metrics to maintain availability and performance requirements.
• Provide input and guidance on development and architecture decisions; collaborate with other engineers.
• You will be working closely with our SaaS Provider of our PIM solution to maintain system performance and manage capacity.
• Work... together with Technology Leads, Platform Engineers and other Team members for the benefit of the overall platform, integration solutions and Digital Transformation program.

ABOUT YOU:
• A degree in business/IT or a comparable qualification as well as initial experience in customer consulting on PIM processes.
• Ideally, you have already been involved in the introduction of software products, ideally in the PIM environment, and have been able to gain practical experience in the modeling and classification of data.
• You are familiar with change and process management and are confident in the use of project management and consulting methods.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of current PIM, MDM, e-commerce and CMS solutions and platforms.
• Experience with integration patterns and methods like REST, JSON, XML or SOAP web services are a benefit.
• Familiarity with back-end architectures.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, current best practices, threat modelling and risk mitigation techniques.
• Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services.
• Demonstrating true engineering craftsmanship mindset.
• Be an advocate of the DevOps culture and principles.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration and great teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills.
• Understanding of social and ethical implications of software engineering (e.g., like described in the ACM Code of Ethics).
• Open minded, inquisitive, life-long learner.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous.
• English business fluent is a must as German would be beneficial.
