Our client is a leading insurer that is looking for a skilled IT auditor to join their team on a contract basis. This role has the opportunity to be a fully remote WFH role.
• Oversees the completion of all phases of the audit process for assigned multiple concurrent audits to the required Group and IIA standards.
• Oversee the responsible IT audit portfolio, work closely with IT and business units to identify audit schedule and resource requirements, and regular review of own portfolio with other Asia IT Audit Leadership Team members.
• Ensure high quality of reporting and audit work performed.
• Works with management in tracking action plans to assist with timely resolution.
• Communicate effectively with the Head of IT Audit, CAEs and Asia IT Audit Leadership Team to ensure awareness of issues relevant to the control environment of the responsible entities, share knowledge and best practices.
• Develop effective relationships with relevant management within the IT relevant areas... covered.
• Perform risk assessments for the areas of the IT and business covered, contribute significantly to the responsible entities annual internal audit plans.

• Keeps abreast of emerging technology (e.g. cloud), and development of relevant industry, regulatory and corporate matters that may affect the responsible entities and their Internal Audit Department's work.
• Is responsible for own professional development and pro-actively identifies relevant training and development needs and develops own professional network.

Skills and Experience
• 8-10 years of related experience in an IT environment
• Exposure to and familiarity with Internal Audit concepts and Risk Assessment
• Master understanding of IT general controls, project management, system development lifecycle methodology, and controls
• Good knowledge of operating systems, databases, and networks.
• Expert skills, and experience in the principles and practices of technology, IT industry trends, IT infrastructure, IT service management processes and controls, and Cloud technologies
• Management and leadership through team of professionals
• Work effectively alone or as part of a team.
• Thinks objectively demonstrating sound judgement.
