Internal Auditor I / II
The appointee shall report to the Director / Assistant Director of the Internal Audit Office, and will be responsible for (a) planning, organising and conducting financial, operational and compliance matters, such as assignments in internal audit or value for money studies; (b) undertaking original analysis and research; (c) identifying and communicating observations or issues raised; (d) putting forward appropriate recommendations for improvement in processes, systems or internal controls; and (e) preparing relevant internal audit reports on the assigned work. He/She will be required to undertake assignments for the University’s internal audit functions in Shenzhen. Internal shuttle bus service is available for travelling between Shatin and Shenzhen campuses.
Applicants should have (a) a recognised degree in Business Administration or a management-related discipline (with a professional qualification in either accounting, management... information technology or law will be an advantage); (b) at least 8 years’ post-qualification work experience in auditing; (c) a good command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (d) good analytical, communication and report writing skills; and (e) commitment to self-development and expansion of knowledge. Possession of CPA or CIA qualification is preferred. Applicants who possess less than 8 years’ work experience in auditing may also be considered as Internal Auditor II.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement
