Position Title: Data Analyst

Duration: long term contract, potential for permanent after contract duration

Converting Salary:
• Grade 6 (3-5 years exp) – 72k mid-point, 93k max
• Grade 7 (4-8 years exp ) – 95k mid-point

Location: Hybrid - 7-8 days/month in office (111 W Monroe St Chicago, IL)

Must-Have Skills:
• Experience in an Analytical role at a Bank
• Hands on SQL experience – writing queries
• Advanced Excel – pivot tables, vlookups, macros
• Knowledge of banking terminology (trading products, fixed income, deposits, loans, derivatives, etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree

Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience in Regulatory Reporting at a Bank
• Knowledge of SCCL (Single Counterparty Credit Limit)
• Experience utilizing AxiomSL ControllerView Regulatory Reporting software

Role Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking multiple Data Analysts to join our Banking client’s organization. The Data Analysts will be profiling the data within a data warehouse and reconciliation surrounding Single Counterparty Credit Limit (SCCL). They will be looking at data from around 50-60 systems. These individuals will be doing gap analysis to ensure they have all the data in order to do the reporting and identifying data quality issues/gaps. This position will require a lot of risk shifting, with data analysis and reconciliation to the general ledger.
