We are looking for a
Data Warehouse Developer
for our Digital Department

The mission of the Data Team is to turn Vodafone into a Data and AI driven company that impress customers by personalized and relevant offering and outperform competitors in the long term. As member of the Aggregation layer squad, your job is transforming data into a format that can be easily analysed. You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing sophisticated data warehouse solution on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with reporting specialists, data analysts and data scientists largely in charge of developing solutions for them that enable them to do their jobs.

You will be involved in the following tasks
• Work with data engineers and analysts to build new and extend existing data structures
• Design and develop efficient and stable DWH solutions in strong cooperation with business users, stakeholders... and the BI team
• Develop, maintain, and support ETL processes for loading data from multiple data sources into a GCP based DWH
• Research and troubleshoot data quality issues, providing fixes and proposing both short- and long-term solutions
• Always stick to Vodafone’s customer data protection policy where we do not tolerate any non-compliance

We are looking for you if you have
• 3+ years Data engineering\BI Engineer\DWH Developer\Data Analyst experience
• Proven experience in development of high-performing SQL with more than 3 years of experience developing complex SQL scripts
• Deep understanding of data-warehousing, ETL processes and data-modeling techniques
• Data warehouse development project experience is highly preferred
• Experience with large relational data sets, including load performance, query performance, archiving, etc
• Agile, assertive personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team player and good level of cooperation skills
• Fluent English in written and oral is mandatory
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum team is a plus
• Technical skills, experience:
• SQL coding/querying skills in GCP Big Query and/or SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, Teradata
• experience with Git based version controlling
• experience with common data visualisation tools is highly preferred
