Au sein de l'équipe finance groupe et rattaché à Olfa, nous recherchons un responsable comptable, le vent de Cherbourg en Cotentin vous amènera à réaliser la mission suivante : être responsable de la conformité comptable technique, des contrôles internes financiers et opérationnels, de la simplification des processus et de l'excellence opérationnelle afin de fournir des rapports et des analyses financiers précis et réels.

Pour cela vos responsabilités principales seront de :
• Veiller à l'application des normes de l’entreprise en respectant les exigences locales et internationales (en normes françaises, US GAAP un plus)
• Apporter son expertise aux équipes financières sur des sujets techniques
• Identifier les différences de standard (Stat To Gaap) entre les US GAAP et les normes françaises
• Préparation des comptes annuels en conformité avec la réglementation française
• Préparation des déclarations fiscales (impôts sur les sociétés, prix de transferts, taxes indirectes, TVA) en conformité avec la réglementation française.
• Gérer les relations avec les auditeurs externes, et les contrôleurs fiscaux
• Préparation ou revue de réconciliation de comptes
• Faire preuve d'un leadership axé sur la collaboration afin de travailler étroitement avec les opérationnels de l’usine
• Respects des délais, et des règlementations internes et gouvernementales.
• Contribuer au respect de la conformité et à la mise en place de contrôles rigoureux en interne pour les processus financiers (B2P, T&L, Sourcing essentiellement)

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage statutory reporting of 2 to 4 France GE Vernova legal entities
• Set up, reconcile and maintain local French GAAP with USGAAP to local GAAP adjustments
• Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with France regulatory requirements.
• Strong support to LM and/or Offshore Business as Primary point-of-contact for queries relating to the local regulatory timelines, process steps, status updates in terms of statutory preparation and audit
• Support changes in legal organization structure changes including Mergers, Acquisitions and Dispositions and various accounting and finance projects related to system migration and process simplification
• Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc
• Understand and interpret applicable French GAAP, Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.

• D’une expérience professionnelle de 3-5 ans minimum sur un poste similaire (contexte industriel, dans un environnement comptable analytique opérationnel)
• Des compétences techniques : connaissances de la réglementation français, niveau Excel élevé
• D’un fort esprit d’analyse, d’une autonomie, d’une capacité à résoudre des problèmes financiers complexes

Required Qualifications
• University degree in accounting, or finance.
• 5-10 years minimum of private or public accounting experience, including in operational analytics accounting environment.
• France statutory experience
• Strong analytical, and the ability to use good judgment.
• Organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and leadership.
• At ease with computer tools, software.
• Bilingual (English and French).
• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
