Perform Recruitment is currently looking to fill the role of Material Handler Team Lead for our manufacturing client based in Cork, Ireland. Our client is a manufacturing company with a reputation for producing high-quality products. The successful candidate will work full-time on a permanent contract, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. The salary for this role is 13.5 euro per hour.

Key Responsibilities

As the Material Handler Team Lead, you will have the following key responsibilities:
• Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the material handling team, including assigning tasks, training new team members, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized.
• Conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling any discrepancies in inventory.
•... Ensuring that all materials are received, inspected, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including following all safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
• Liaising with other departments, including production, shipping, and quality control, to ensure that all materials are delivered to the appropriate location on time.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and working with the team to implement new processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in material handling, with previous experience in a leadership role. You will be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and comfortable working with technology, including inventory management systems. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
