Responsibilities The Brand Design Digital team at State Farm is responsible for creating and maintaining branded, digital communications for external Marketing efforts and internal communications. Members of this team will help shape and drive team culture and be at the forefront of digital brand design for State Farm (working within ADA guidelines).

As a Web Developer, you will report to the Brand Design Manager over Digital work and partner with teammates: a creative director, art director, digital content strategists, and web designers.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the digital design process.

What you'll be responsible for:
• Possess a strong understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Exhibits strong, verbal and written communication with colleagues
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, and API's
• Strong grasp of accessibility standards
• Researches and applies new technology trends as it relates to the web development
• Stays current on technologies and concepts relevant to databases, websites, networks, code development, media formats, and State Farm technology guidelines as applicable to core project responsibilities
• Interface with internal business partners throughout various departments
• Works with business partners to analyze, define, and document business requirements
• Acts as a resource on technical issues as appropriate and provides support for escalated technical problems
• Applies fundamental knowledge of web development to create, modify, and maintain websites with assistance
• Completes initial training and begins to design, code, test, debug, document and support web development assignments with assistance
• Balances workload and timelines across concurrent project assignments
• Receives guidance from more experienced Web Developers as appropriate for professional growth/development

Qualifications Qualified candidates will posses the following:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of experience
• Experience working within Figma as a tool for designers to pass off sites for collaborative work between team members
• Thorough understanding of creative development processes
• Ability to understand complex projects, prioritize their project work, and work independently
• A passion for continuous improvement (Process, workflow, and other efficiencies) to drives high quality solutions
