Senior Data Scientist – Enterprise Level Organization

A global leader in their domain who have created the largest mobile platform globally, due to ongoing success and expansion are looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist and join the Data Science and Analytics Team. As the Senior Data Scientist you will have the opportunity to influence data driven decisions across the organization through machine learning initiatives. Responsibilities:
• Build predictive and machine learning models which deliver business value
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build and enhance modelling capabilities
• Work with key stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, analyse data and... generate insights to drive decision-making
• Promote a data-driven approach throughout the company to drive forward key initiatives
• Collaborate and share new ideas in a team environment

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of a statistical programming language, e.g. Python
• 5+ years commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience building and deploying models in a cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Strong mathematical background with an in-depth understanding of machine learning concepts.
• Extensive use of SQL within a work setting (BigQuery preferred)
• Adaptable and engaged in an open and collaborative environment
• Effective communication skills – both verbal and written

Advantage to have:
• Experience working in Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience working in an agile technology company
