For our PRODUCTION Team in BU Megadyne Vilanova, we are currently looking for a / an

PRODUCTION MANAGER

As a JOB TITLE, you will be responsible for ensuring production according quality controls to meet the final product quality specifications, producing products following the production schedule to meet Customer demands, driving continuous improvement in Production to improve... efficiency and reduce waste.

You will report to the Plant Manager and work closely with the HSE, Quality, Supply chain and technical areas. You will manage a team of 4 supervisors and 100 operators.

In this role, you will be based in VILANOVA I LA GELTRU, BARCELONA.
• Ensure Safety and Quality procedures are followed in Production, and actively work to improve working environment
• Promote the fulfilment of Standard Operations procedures in manufacturing (SOP)
• Calculate and adapt DL staff according needs
• Monitors and creates improvement plan for DL Efficiency
• Follow production schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure OTD and quality of products
• Promote and / or leads the daily meetings (Tier1) with his / her supervisors / teamleaders / operators.
• Attend to operations daily meeting (Tier2)
• Develop DL staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees to facilitate professional and personal growth
• Act as an inspiration leader by motivating the team and ensures people flexibility for key operations in Production (Skill Matrix)
• Supports cost savings, continuous improvement and operational excellence programs

We are looking for you to have
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Production Manager or as Supervisor having a strong promoting profile
• Lean Manufacturing skills
• Fluent in English
• MS Office and ERP proficiency
• Data driven and analytical skills, predictable, disciplined and structured approach
• Leadership acumen
• Positive team spirit
• Entrepreneurial and customer focus
• Ability to deliver what is promised
• Drive for change and innovation
• Ability to build relationships through collaboration
