We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative technology team in our state of the art offices in Mulgrave.

About the Role

You will design, develop, test, analyse and maintain software applications to support our business needs. This includes writing, coding, testing and analysing software programs and applications. You will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

Your extensive knowledge and... experience will set you in good stead as you help mentor, support and guide the team.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to
• The successful delivery of projects and technology applications
• Analysis, design, implementation and testing of these solutions
• Ensuring solutions satisfy stated and implied business requirements
• Enhancing and extending the architecture for one or more software systems
• Technical excellence by staying up-to-date in technological developments

MUST HAVE Skills & Experience
• Fluent in C#, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
• Exposure to MVC, API's and Web Services is a must
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiar with version control software such as Git
• Agile development methodology

Desirable Skills & Experience
• React, Node.js
• Event Sourcing
• Domain Driven Design experience with exposure to CQRS patterns
• Exposure to Xamarin or mobile development

About you
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science, IT
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills
• Proficient in .NET C#
• Capable of working both independently and on a team
• Experience in the planning, monitoring and delivery of complex projects
• Customer focus with strong communication skills, with a collaborative approach and a ‘can do’ attitude’ to deliver
