The Institute for Occupational Medicine, Social Medicine and Health Services Research is looking for a Research fellow (f/m/d) in the field of occupational health services research. Starting date is 01. August 2023 in full-time. The position is limited until 31.07.2026. At the Institute of Occupational and Social Medicine and Health Services Research (Medical Director Prof. Dr. med. M.A. Rieger), an interdisciplinary team is committed to the health of people of working age in research, teaching and occupational health services.

The design and implementation of good working conditions plays a prominent role in the prevention of work-related diseases and contributes to the... Sustainable Development Goal 8 "Decent work and economic growth". We are conducting research on the prevention and early detection of occupational cancers with a focus on people with a 'migration background', using the example of the construction industry and agriculture.

In an ethnographic, flexible research design, we will develop an in-depth understanding of needs, requirements and barriers in close exchange with practice partners and will derive ideas for solutions and transfer potentials.
