Would you like to join our Clinical Operations Department
an work on our trials across different therapeutic areas? Are
you interested to be responsible of all our site trials in
Belgium and Luxembourg? Are you willing to coordinate and work
with many different stakeholders?

The role

You will manage our clinical trial sites at every stage of
the clinical trial process to a high quality in accordance
with Novo Nordisk policies and procedures, relevant
legislation and good clinical practice requirements. You will
be the first point of contact between site... staff and Novo
Nordisk. You will be on the field 1 or 2 days per week. More
specifically the role entails:
• To contribute to or lead the selection of trial sites in
collaboration with our Global trial team and local
colleagues
• To be responsible of one or more clinical trials,
representing the local team in the Global trial team. It
involves to ensure trial staff is properly trained to conduct
the trials and to develop relationships with healthcare
professionals in new therapeutic areas.
• To manage our trial sites. It involves to ensure
successful completion of the clinical program, to meet patient
recruitment and retention targets. You will also make sure to
strengthen relations with existing sites and implement new
systems and processes.
• To provide and submit trial documentation to Health
Authority, Ethics Committee and other stakeholders involved in
the start-up phase and trial lifecycle
• To be responsible for site preparedness for audits and
inspections and all related follow-up activities

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who has :
• A Master in Science, Pharmaceutical degree level or
equivalent. You have basic good clinical practice qualification
• A first experience in clinical research or equivalent. You
have a first approach of clinical trial methodology and
environment. You are eager to develop your knowledge and
technical skills in clinical research in the next years
• You are very comfortable to exchange in Dutch. You have a
professional level in English and in French
• You are a team player who his able to adapt, prioritize,
collaborate and coordinate various stakeholders in a
fast-paced environment

About our Department

You will join our Belgium affiliate Clinical Operations
Department composed of 14 people (mostly CRAs) and will report
to the Clinical Operations Manager.

You will collaborate with both internal (Clinical Research
teams, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, Quality,
Compliance) and external stakeholders (Health Authorities,
Ethic committees, vendors, site staff, healthcare
professionals) on a daily basis.
