We are seeking a Nurse Co-Ordinator who wants to join an incredible organisation with state-of-the-art theatres and peri-operative environment. Paediatric health care is an extremely rewarding career step, you don’t need to have prior paediatric experience, and you may have relevant and extensive perioperative skills and knowledge, that would make you a good fit for this leadership role. • A single point of accountability for clinical and managerial leadership for Nursing and other support roles within perioperative services. (Co-ordinates approximately 140 employees)
• Leadership and... consultancy to nursing, medical and allied health care professionals, and relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to Perth Children’s Hospital.

About Directorate

Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) is Western Australia’s specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, providing medical care to children and adolescents 15 years of age or under. We provide treatment for the most serious medical cases, as well as secondary services including inpatient, outpatient and day-stay care.

Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC) campus in Nedlands, PCH has:
• 298 beds
• the capacity for up to 12 multi-use operating theatres, including an intraoperative MRI and two interventional theatres
• 75% single rooms
• green spaces, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities
• retail and food outlets
• helicopter landing pad for QEIIMC campus.

The hospital was purpose built, incorporating the latest evidence-based design principles, enabling us to provide and deliver the best possible care and services to the Western Australian community.
