We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job

You will be responsible for creating new technical documentation as well as updating and maintaining existing documentation. You will develop and own the documentation structure and content and the process related to creation, development, and release of documentation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work closely with our technical illustrator, R&D, product management and customers to produce content, which is pedagogical, user friendly, accurate, professional and in accordance with Northvolt standards.
• Create new product and system documentation.
• Update, improve and maintain technical documentation.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :
• Engineering degree or similar.
• 3 years' experience in a technical writer role.
• Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
• Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background
• Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma concepts
• Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry is a plus
• Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background
• Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
• Highly organized and results driven
