Job Description

Our client is a CySEC regulated entity with headquarters in Limassol and offices abroad in different jurisdictions. They are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant, to maintain daily the accounting records and journals, review Monthly Management accounts, supervise, and coordinate the finance team to ensure daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly and ad hoc reports are prepared on an accurately and timely manner .

Job Responsibilities

Supervise daily reporting and posting of journal entries in the accounting system

Supervise the finance team and coordinate intercompany postings between companies of the Group

Develop the junior members of the Finance Team

Maintain accounts payable and receivable balances of company’s major partners by posting relevant entries in the accounting system, performing reconciliations and ensure payments execution on time

Responsible for monthly and yearly preparation of management accounts and year end financials

Responsible for the... preparation & submission of regulatory reports

Preparation of tax calculation for various entities

Business partner with Heads of various business units within the Group

Assist in the preparation of consolidated reports monthly

Liaise with banks and other company’s associates

Assist on the daily Financial Report to Management on company’s financial status and liquidity

Liaise with external auditors for yearend financial statements

Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements or management requests

Make recommendations & implement automation processes

Drive efficiencies within the Finance Team

Requirements

University degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related field

At least 2-3 years’ work experience in the Forex Industry

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong knowledge of current accounting practices and techniques

Strong command of written and spoken English is essential

Proficient in Excel

Good communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Working Hours: 9-6 (Mon-Fri)
