A boutique hotel, Casa Salles is a luxury destination retreat within scenic grounds adjacent to our El Tequileno distillery in the magical town of Tequila. Amplifying the spirit and heritage of the town of Tequila, Casa Salles offers 25 intimate guest rooms, a lively restaurant, pool sanctuary, picturesque banquet facility, and a tranquility spa.

Reporting to the President, Mexico Operations, the Hotel Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the hotel and direct leadership with all department heads including the Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Manager and Rooms Manager. This senior... leader will require strong administration skills, a passion for details and the ability to make empowered decisions. A disciplined approach towards cost and expense management is expected as is the ability to analyze and forecast financial performance on an ongoing basis. Strong relationship skills are required, as this position will interact with customers, colleagues, and fellow department heads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination of all operating departments consisting of Food and Beverage, Rooms, Spa, and Maintenance, evaluating performance and productivity daily.
Ensuring that all aspects of the hotel operation are meeting customer satisfaction standards, including cleanliness, maintenance, security, staff professionalism, and customer service.
This position requires a variable schedule with attendance during peak business levels up to and including weekends and holidays.
Ensure effective revenue management tools are in place to generate high demand through ongoing innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize hotel occupancy and private catering events.
Oversee all recruitment, training, and performance management of all colleagues to ensure high employee satisfaction with low turnover and strong retention.
Monitor the performance of all staff members to ensure they are meeting company standards and are recognized for their contributions and are meeting their individual potential.
Execute the highest level of customer service through effective policies and processes, resolving guest concerns as they arise.
Ensure the ongoing maintenance and organization of the hotel along with the coordination of capital projects with suppliers and the ownership group.
Compliance with all government and local authority legislation relevant to the operation of the hotel as a business and employer.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Degree or diploma in hotel management a definite asset
Experience in a boutique style hotel in a resort setting required.
Minimum 3 years experience in a senior leadership role with reporting employees
Spanish and English language speaking, and written competency required
Legally entitled to work in Mexico or a valid work permit for Mexico is required.
A valid Mexican drivers is license.
