Job Description and Responsibilities

Devfinity is looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our Kathmandu, Nepal team! As a WordPress Designer at our company, you will be responsible for front-end development, including creating WordPress themes, custom CSS and implementing branding and style requirements. We work with many brands, companies and projects making this a great opportunity to build a strong portfolio and gain a lot of exposure.

Minimum Technical Requirements

3+ years of experience
• Ability to understand product requirements and translate that into technical requirements.
• Good understanding of front-end... technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Strong experience in object-oriented design & development.
• Strong knowledge of data structures.
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of the SCRUM process.

Minimum Non-Technical Requirements
• Portfolio of completed work is required for this position
• English speaker with very good reading a writing skills
• Work with US based technical leadership (architects, project managers) in the development of the software.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and clients
• Ability to provide consistent updates for clients.
• Ability to work independently with some direction
• Willing to ask questions and speak up with new ideas.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in web design
• Proficient in Photoshop and other graphics tools (Figma, Illustrator, Image Ready, etc.)
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JQuery
