What will you be doing?

• Advise clients in Consumer Retail (CR) space on holistic banking activities.
• Manage financial and strategic diligence in the context of either a merger, acquisition, divestiture, capital raise or restructuring.
• Oversee detailed financial analysis on merger modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, leveraged buyouts and debt pay down analysis.
• Oversee preparation of marketing materials.
• Run day-to-day execution on transactions.
• Manage staffing and resource allocation, performance reviews, and day-to-day responsibilities of junior bankers.
• Develop the existing network of relationships, source new business and support business planning opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or closely related field and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate... progressive experience in position offered or as an Investment Banking Analyst, Associate or related position. Demonstrated experience must include:

Analyzing industry and sector trends within the CR ecosystem, including macroeconomic events, and corporate, strategic and financial developments; Managing execution of CR transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, split-offs, and restructurings; Utilizing M&A, credit analysis and capital markets activity knowledge to provide advisory services to clients and internal teams; Analyzing the performance of CR companies, financial statements and business drivers to construct related financial, valuation and operating models; Conducting CR company and industry research, and making recommendations to clients; Developing client content, including valuation analyses, fairness opinions, evaluations of acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises, offering memorandums, board materials, investor presentations, and rating agency presentations; Facilitating transactions and underwriting of securities, including determining the price and size of securities and providing financial models to potential investors and credit agencies; Utilizing Factset platform for financial modeling, valuation and presentation materials, analysis of market data, stock price performance, company financials and research estimates, company ownership and shareholder structure, industry and M&A screening; and Utilizing Bloomberg for evaluation of equity, credit and derivative markets, analysis of stock price moves and debt trading levels, and cost of capital calculations.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. The building is easily accessible to Restaurants, Shops and Public Transportation.
