Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Lab Technician position at a petrochemical testing laboratory in Texas City, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of chemical and physical analyses on petroleum fuels and chemicals.

Additional Job Responsibilities...
• Perform all required testing on petroleum fuels, gasoline, and chemical samples
• Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Document all activities and record keeping according to SOP's
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory analysis methods
• General upkeep and housekeeping of the Laboratory

Job Requirements:
• BS in Chemistry or other related technical discipline or equivalent work experience in a lab
• Ability to understand ASTM standards and procedures
• Must be able to work with all chemicals, petrochemicals, and petroleum products
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision coupled with excellent organizational skills
• Position requires a dependable and reliable individual whose daily presence adds to the success of the department
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as the position will include evenings, weekends, and holidays base on customers’ needs

This is a temp to hire opportunity with a rotating 4 on 4 off day and night shift schedule, 6-6. Pay rate is dependent upon level of education and applicable experience. If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume for immediate consideration. #P1
