Captain Words is a content writing and translation agency connecting writers with a variety of global clients. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our remote team and be responsible for leading the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

The Sales Manager will be leading and coaching the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets, managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales plans and driving the achievement of business goals.

Responsibilities:
• Find and secure yearly contracts with clients
• Identify markets and potential clients
• Conduct cold reach out to potential clients
• Manage a team of 3 Sales and Relationship Managers (SRTs)
• Close deals and conduct calls with clients
• Ensure sales targets are met
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments
• Represent the company in a professional and confident... manner

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a sales manager in the writing/translation/SEO industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to handle objections
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
