About The Role

An expansive opportunity within an property development organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to step up into this Finance Manager position and look after 2 direct reports, help assist in the financial reporting, management, communication of the organisations accounting and commercial activities.

The Responsibilities

Reporting into the CFO, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
• Financial and Management Reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Provision of key analysis & insights
• Management of a small finance team (2 direct reports)
• Integral driving of systems integration and process improvements
• Accounting for GST,BAS and managing FBT
• Preparation and ownership of month end closing
• Partnering and supporting wider business departments
• Financial forecasting and project analysis
The successful applicant will have

Ideally, you... will be a fully or part qualified CA/CPA/CIMA (or studying towards) accounting professional who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be critical to your success. Prior experience managing a small team would be desired, and experience across Lease Accounting and Intercompany Accounting will be considered as highly advantageous.
