Chemical Engineer

Our client is a well-established company based in Cyprus that focuses on the production of various products that are used in multiple industries. They aim to provide superior quality service by continuously improving their systems and developing their team. They are currently looking for a highly skilled Chemical Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor and test processes and products found in all phases of production

Develop and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials

Establish safety and waste management procedures

Design, propose, implement, review, and correct plans to ensure company goals are achieved.

Observe production processes, conduct research, and find ways to increase efficiency and quality of all finished products

Maintain, and obtain third party certifications and quality control qualifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 etc), and coordinate with external organizations and government agencies

Thoroughly... collect and analyse data, as well as record keeping

Requirements

University Degree in Chemical Engineering

Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background

Fluent in both Greek and English (written and spoken)

High computer literacy (MS – Office and other programs)

Exceptional problem solving, analytical skill, and attention to detail

Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Relevant training and/or certifications in metallurgy and/or surface treatment experience will be consider as an advantage
