We’re currently looking to add a Data Scientist to our Digital Intelligence (DI) team at Siemens Energy Small Gas Turbines based in Lincoln. Working in Transformation, as part of the DI Team you will be responsible for visualizations of the data sets and architecture associated with the Gas Turbine Digital Twin. By joining the Digital Intelligence Team you will play an integral part in driving the business' digital future, will be expected to be capable of working both individually and as part of a team, focusing on Business Transformation projects. How You`ll Make an Impact To apply analytical reasoning skills, specifically in the fields of data mining to develop appropriate automated dashboards and analysis of digital twin related data To project manage small... work packages related to the investigation, specification or testing of the aforementioned analytics To identify gaps and errors within the data visualizations affecting business processes To work with a wide range of functions across the business to understand their data requirements To assist personnel and departments in understanding how to improve data quality and processes to enhance productivity across the business To assist in the introduction of automated processes associated with the data processes to increase data quality and reduce effort. What You Bring You will be expected to have graduated in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or another related subject which demonstrates a high level of analytic skills You should have experience of working on data projects in a business environment and will have expertise gained in one or more of the following areas: data analytics, software development, and agile project management Experience in programming languages such as R, and Python the use of such tools as Tableau and Snowflake Excellent Communication skills and good knowledge of written and spoken English The role requires one month induction period in UK with low percentage of travel.
