Company Description

As Communications Manager your job is to get others talking about Red Bull. This by developing and leading strategic communication through storytelling, earned media, and content creation for all Red Bull's sponsored athletes, events (owned and 3rd party) within sports, gaming, and music, as well as other content initiatives and beverage product innovations.

You will work in a team making content for all different media channels and function as a project leader developing comprehensive communication plans to activate Paid, Earned, Managed & Owned media.

Job Description

DRIVING WORD OF MOUTH

Identifying story opportunities from Red Bull's initiatives to the local communication and... facilitating the translation of marketing ideas into engaging media products for managed, owned and earned media channels.

Be the eyes and ears outside our walls to evaluate emerging trends and identify potential opportunities for Red Bull to target consumer groups more effectively, as well as identify and constantly reflect on the most important media that matter to help drive impactful word-of-mouth.

CREATIVE BIG EARNED REACH

Build, maintain and leverage your strong personal network with key national medias and foster strong 360 long-term media partnerships and take full responsibility for amplifying earned media activations with traditional third-party medias, as well as opinion leaders, Red Bull's athletes, industry partners etc.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

As Communications Manager, you'll ensure that communication strategies are set out from the beginning of any project, clearly identifying the key hook / storyline for media that encourages them to talk about the brand.

You'll create project plan briefings for projects that are clear and easily understandable for all stakeholders, and you'll establish the key milestones that take series', events, or content formats from concept to high quality, quantifiable earned outcome.

By overseeing and tracking project budgets on a yearly basis, you'll prioritize projects and initiatives that hold the highest return on investment and complement the work being done within the Media Network.

MONITOR/ ANALYZE

Media monitoring and analyzing day-to-day earned media and making data-driven adjustments in communication strategy.

Qualifications

Creative and innovative in finding big earned reach.

5+ years of experience as a communications/public relations professional in Communications, PR, Marketing, media-led companies, or a professional sports environment.

Deep understanding of and interest in sports and a strong understanding of the Swedish media landscape and current media trends.

Personal network of media, PR agencies and freelancers within the Swedish media landscape.

Experienced with project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

An agile team player that knows how to get the work done, adaptive, well organized, motivated, and open-minded.

Additional Information

#Education

University degree in communications, media, digital or related field.

#Language

Fluent in Swedish, proficient in English (written and spoken).
