Key Responsibilities

Facilitate, co-ordinate and develop solutions for strategic company projects.

Central collation, effective use/implementation and governance of buying-/ systems-/ project-related documentation.

Look for new developments and refinements to continuously improve systems efficiency.

Accurate data reporting and analysis of buying systems/ tools/ reports.

Act as a liaison within the functional areas to facilitate effective change management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

Essential:

A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric

A relevant degree /qualification in Fashion, Textile Design /Clothing Production/ Product Development /Merchandising, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

KNOWLEDGE required:

Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying

Knowledge of buying principles & strategies

Merchandise/Retail Systems Knowledge... specifically Centric Software

SKILLS required:

Excellent communication at all levels within the company

Latest Microsoft applications including advanced Power-point competency

Merchant skills & a sound commercial mentality

Excellent interpersonal skills

Exceptional planning, organizing & time management skills

Networking skills & the ability to be resourceful

The ability to:

EXPERIENCE required:

Essential:

Retailbuying experience of at least 3 years in clothing

Integral understanding of the Clothing Retail Cycle & Product Attributes

Centric Software user experience
