Group Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller with a solid financial accounting background to join our Group Finance team. You will be stepping into a team of 8 colleagues who are working closely together to deliver solid financial analysis for, among others, the Danish Crown Group Executive Management to support their decision-making processes. In Group Finance we work closely together with other group function teams e.g., Treasury, Strategy, and Sustainability.

Danish Crown is currently in a Finance Transformation process moving away from a transactional and a historic looking approach to being more forward-looking, and as part of Group Finance you will play... an important role in this process, creating more transparency through standardization and automation. This means that you in this role can have a seat at the table and influence the agenda.

Do you want to be professionally challenged through a wide range of tasks?
Being part of Danish Crown Group Finance, you will get a wide range of tasks within internal and external reporting and controlling across the Danish Crown Group.

Your key tasks will include:
• Preparation of management information, including monthly financials, forecast and budget, in close cooperation with the different business units
• Preparation of both internal and external reporting for the Danish Crown Group
• Standardization of processes around financial reporting and compliance
• Controlling of subsidiaries across the Danish Crown Group (20-25 travel days a year)
• Participation in various group-wide projects, e.g., project regarding the ESG reporting and its integration in the annual report
• Ownership and maintenance of our consolidation tool SAP BPC

In the different projects, analyses, and tasks, you will work cross-border, cross functions and cross business segments which will bring a broad experience in an international business. Supporting the Group Executive Management and the Board of Directors will give strategic insight and require you to work with other functions to give a broad perspective.

You will also be working with different accounting challenges e.g., in implementing new accounting standards, in using new financial instruments or in on-boarding new acquisitions.

Experienced team member with strong analytical skills
• We expect that you have 3+ years of documented experience from an audit firm or from another financial controlling job.
• You have an educational background such as Cand.merc.aud., Cand.merc. management accounting and control, HD(R) or similar.
• We expect you to be familiar with the Microsoft Office-programs, especially Excel.
• You communicate fluently both orally and in writing in English.
• You are outgoing and used to communicating with stakeholders on different levels on the chain of decisions.
• You are quality-conscious, values close collaboration with your colleagues and appreciates an energetic working environment
