Job Title: Fashion Designer (Production Manager)

Location: Oniru – Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Working hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)

About The Job
• Our client needs a production manager who would oversee production process, ensuring production is cost effective by drawing up a production schedule and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.

Responsibilities
• Forward, creative and proactive thinking as well as an ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Managing the design process from conception through to final styling
• Handling clients’ consultation sessions Ability to fashion illustrate using computer-generated images.
• Ability to communicate both technical and creative ideas to the... creative director.
• Liaising with customers and vendors.
• Assisting clients in making design decisions by proposing changes or alterations. Inspecting fabric/end design to look for design or production errors.
• Performing extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities

Qualifications
• University Graduate in any field.
• Education in a Fashion School is highly required
• Practical experience in Fashion Design Illustration/Merchandising with proof is highly required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in garment production management
• Knowledge and understanding of fabrics and print techniques
• Must have a full understanding of garment construction (start to finish); that is patterning, cutting, draping, sewing and the difference sewing techniques to achieve design.
• Must be meticulous in record keeping, production schedule, time management and then eye for detail and quality products.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat + Microsoft Excel +Word, Google Docs.

Salary

N80,000 Monthly.
