One of the UK's largest Facilities Management (FM) providers are hiring! The employer work with a prestigious corporate client to maintain their global property portfolio across both Hard and Soft services.

The client are particularly interested in achieving a "True Waste" startegy across their Global Headquarter facilities, this role is to establish the client as a leader in managing waste and to drive the reduced waste agenda across the estate. The role holder will be responsible to engage with the relevant stakeholders in order to implement and maintain reduced waste at key locations

You will be looking at reviewing all service lines to assess whether materials currently in use can be reduced, reused or recycled taking an upstream approach to waste. Working with the reduced Waste... Compliance Manager they will also be responsible to map out waste and support the client becoming a zero waste to landfill company globally.

Further Actions Will Include
• Develop, manage and deliver the client's True Waste Strategy globally
• Develop the processes and overarching framework to facilitate successful achievement of a True Waste Certification
• Engage with the different stakeholders to achieve reduced waste within their service lines
• Develop processes for local teams to effectively record waste requirements relating to waste reuse and reduce
• Liaise with the colleagues, the client and the suppliers to promote the programme and move the programme along
• Ensure periodic reviews of the programme
• Chair programme governance meetings with the relevant stakeholders
• Delivery of face to face or online training modules as required

We Need From You
• A minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar Sustainability Strategy role
• Experience of developing processes for remote teams to manage local waste strategy
• Knowledge of True Waste & Circular Economy concepts
• Ability to engage with varying levels of stakeholders
