As an Australian-based Energy Start-up, Energy Flex helps industry and Australian communities become Renewables Ready. We do this by applying our Energy Value Proposition (EVP) on energy use cases to understand the impact of variable energy on operations.

As the primary creative for our business, you are responsible for the hands-on design development and execution of high-quality graphic assets suitable for production both technically and artistically.

You will create and craft engaging visual solutions across digital, print and social media channels, and provide expert design advice and support to all teams and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with the brand strategy and guidelines.

Your role requires a solid understanding of our solutions and technology, and how it interacts with, and enables value for, the end customer (Users, Partners, and Practitioners) in all business markets.  

As a key role within a cross functional communications team – you will work with our... Product and Demand teams, under the following groupings: 

Creative Strategy
• Develop, Manage and maintain the design elements, and output of all core brands
• Continue to evolve our brand guidelines, aligned with business and product growth
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop major campaign creative and suites of assets through all marketing channels

Graphic Design
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute the brand vision and value proposition
• Lead the translation of data and information into highly effective and engaging visuals and deliverables
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver compelling creative content consistent with industry trends and requirements
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver on projects (i.e. Marcoms, Product Managers, Sales, Operations)
• Input into and approval of overarching creative execution across channels including digital, social, eDM, TV, VM
• Where required, provide art direction at photography shoots

User Interface (UI) Design
• Ideate and create conceptual user interface designs that continually push the boundaries to ensure our product offerings are market-leading.
• Ensure all designs adhere to Brand kits and guidelines
• Understand design systems and emerging design trends to implement across our platforms UI
• Deliver conceptual designs, prototypes and wireframes in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar
• Apply UI design best practices to create both responsive web and mobile designs conforming to WCAG2.1 requirements
