Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine.

Join a small, tight knit team of Graphic Designers working in the heart of Nine's Adelaide Newsroom.

We are looking for an individual... with a keen mind and a passion for motion and graphic design, who thrives under pressure and wants to challenge their design skills.

You will be working closely with Journalists, Producers and Editors to create animations, visual aids and infographics for local news stories. With a focus on clear, bold and innovative designs that appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Day to day you will:
• Interpret briefs provided by the newsroom team
• Conceptualise and deliver animations, visual aids and infographics within tight deadlines
• Communicate effectively with Producers, Journalists and Editors to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Work with the graphics team to produce high quality graphics quickly

Qualifications

What we would like to see on your resume::
• A decent skill set in the Adobe Suite, focusing primarily on After Effects and Photoshop.
• A great understanding of 2D animation workflows
• Understanding of 3D workflows (Element and Cinema4D prefered)
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
• Strong eye for design and layout
