Security Adviser

Are you an information security specialist with a sound understanding of technology and security risks in a financial services environment? Te tūranga - The role Security Adviser will provide risk and information security expertise for the delivery of projects and programmes, by providing design advice and guidance to ensure adoption of and adherence to information security architectures, strategies, policies, standards and guidelines. You'll support the vendor selection process and provide technical leadership and advice on all the Banks security functions including contributing to the development and maintenance of Te Pūtea Matua's information security strategy. Ō pūkenga - About you To be successful in this role you will bring:
• Proven experience in a technical and information security based role
• Strong technical security skills in the... Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem
• A good understanding of software development lifecycle security and secure Dev/Ops
• Knowledge of encryption and key management disciplines
• A good understanding of NZ government protective security requirements (PSR) and the NZ Information Security Manual (NZISM)
• The ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven experience and understanding of information security best practice
• Strong written skills and the ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation
• The ability to obtain national security clearance
