The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist to join the Nourish for Life (NFL) Outpatient Program and the Medical Stabilization Program (MSP) for Disordered Eating at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital. The NFL outpatient program provides collaborative assessment, support, and treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, and other eating/feeding disorders. The MSP inpatient services provides structured, safe refeeding for patients through age 25 who have malnutrition secondary to eating disorders or disordered eating. Primary duties include:
• Provide assessments and interventions
• Provide direct clinical care
• Conduct staff training on the management and treatment of eating disorders patients and their families ("staff" includes nurses, care partners, social worker, case manager, child life employees, physicians, and any other parties who directly work with this patient population)
• Other clinical duties as assigned

Salary range: $56.66-$74.74 Hourly

Job Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or related field from an APA-approved program

Must be licensed as a psychologist in the State of California

Prior experience and training in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders

Knowledge and practice of CBT and FBT

Knowledge and practice of DBT (preferred)
