As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering software projects that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, software development lifecycle, and extensive experience in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities
• Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Proactively monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Resource Management: Manage project resources effectively, including budget, staff, and external contractors. Ensure the availability of necessary resources and promote efficient utilization of resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project... Execution: Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring adherence to project milestones, quality standards, and budget constraints. Monitor project progress, facilitate communication, and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and tests to validate compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Change Management: Assess and manage change requests, evaluate their impact on project scope, timeline, and budget, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the software delivery lifecycle. Implement best practices, lessons learned, and industry standards to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on software delivery, preferably within the insurance industry. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex software projects from initiation to closure.
• Insurance Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, practices, and regulations. Familiarity with insurance products, underwriting, claims, policy administration, or related areas is highly
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), programming languages, and technologies commonly used in the insurance industry. Understanding of cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity is a plus.
