In a $31tn FMCG market, with over 1 million manufacturers, 20m distributors and wholesalers and over 500m independent retailers, less than 3% of the B2B trading is currently done online. Our mission is to grow global online commerce for the world's small businesses by removing the barriers to online trading.

Currently, due to antiquated and high-cost payment networks, over $19tn of trade payments are made offline, adding complexity and inconvenience to online trading. This has resulted in local retailers, who directly influence >80% of local consumer... buying behaviour, often being the least technically equipped with data, pricing, or the latest inventory.

So we built an Open Commerce Platform that enables the sale and distribution of FMCG products to be made much simpler. Products should be in front of sellers fast, in real-time, through an immersive commerce experience, with trade buyers and sellers able to see live commerce opportunities and pricing. We have built a digital ecosystem that is specifically designed to unlock the full value of the distribution network, providing real-time visibility for order and inventory management. Our innovative platform provides brands and distributors with deep data insights into buyer trends and behaviours and helps identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.

As Account Manager, you will play an integral role in developing successful, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients across Nigeria, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Acting as a key point of contact between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Managing and developing client accounts to initiate and maintain favourable relationships with clients as our product road map evolves.

What you will be doing
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Acting as a link between Product Engineering and Pre-Sales Teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the pre-sales process.
• Assist in the recruitment, assessment, and general management of the Field Activation Officers in assigned territory.
• Provide Sales Support and/or Professional Services for implementation.
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Forecast and track key account metrics.
• Build a solid understanding of the FMCG distribution chain, from end to end.
• Monitor and analyse customer's usage of our product.
• Working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.

What you should have:
• Strong understanding of digital solutions across Payments, Ordering, Marketing solutions and B2B marketplaces
• Ability to comprehend RedCloud technology product line and to communicate our value proposition to prospects.
• Utilise product and market awareness to maximise opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Deep digital understanding
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
