About the Position

Altis is recruiting an experienced Head of Marketing who will be joining the executive team and reporting to the CEO. This is a terrific opportunity for a B2B marketer with a track record of targeting biopharma clinical development audiences to build Altis’ marketing function from the ground up and help a breakthrough health technology company accelerate its growth.

As our first dedicated marketing hire, the Vice President / Director of Marketing will be a hands-on player initially working with agency/freelancer support, and then gradually transition into a coach by building and leading an in-house marketing team. As an outcome of joining Altis, you will drive increases in business growth by delivering lead generation for our software platform and define our brand.

This is a full-time position with the option of working remotely or on a hybrid basis at our office in Toronto.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Define and implement a successful marketing strategy that drives business growth by delivering lead generation for Altis’ software platform and help us meet our sales objectives
• Work with our cross-functional team to define, validate, and communicate data-driven value proof points of our product across disease areas
• Responsible for orchestrating all new product launches
• Develop and track key metrics that inform our marketing and product strategies so that we can iterate and double down on what works best
• Lead content development
• Guide our publication strategy and build relationships with KOLs

• 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in healthcare, ideally with biopharma and CROs as the target audience
• Experience in building a marketing plan and allocating the marketing budget
• Good understanding of clinical trials, real-world evidence, and biomarkers
• Track record of developing high-quality content for external and internal stakeholders. This includes web copy, sales aids, presentations, webinars, conferences, speaking engagements, board presentations, publications, thought leadership, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to influence and lead diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage agencies and freelancers to get work done efficiently and on brand
• Interest in interfacing with multinational clients, investors, journalists, and KOLs
