We are currently looking for a Wine Bar Manager to join our client, an independent Wine Bar located in Essex.

The main role of the Wine Bar Manager is to oversee the business aspects of the bar such as keeping a current liquor license, managing budgets, taking inventory, reordering supplies, and negotiating supplier contracts.

You will be dealing with the recruitment process, training new staff and ensuring they are always providing excellent services to customers.

You will also be helping to promote the business, planning, and taking part in any promotional events, as well as maintaining a fun yet safe atmosphere for both staff and customers.
• Other duties of the Wine Bar Manager:
• Create effective schedules, ensuring the bar is always well-staffed – especially during peak hours.
• Resolve any conflicts quickly and effectively.
• Ensure all licenses are kept up to date and in line with current legislation.
• Enforce quality and safety controls.

To be the successful Wine Bar... Manager, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role where you were managing a bar / restaurant.

We are looking for candidates who have strong communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
