Our client is a major player in the PoS domain who partners with 11 world-leading fast food chains in the US. You’ll help us deliver high-quality software on a SaaS platform that provides customer engagement solutions to empower merchants worldwide to make data-driven marketing decisions.

✅ Is that you?
• 3+ years’ experience in software testing, with at least 1-2 years of backend (REST API) test automation
• Competency in Java or Groovy
• Strong understanding of the agile software development/testing lifecycle and OOP principles
• Experience with manual testing and testing backend software code
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and server tools like Jenkins
• Experience with version control systems and reporting tools
• Ability to implement and maintain automation frameworks and test tools
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Desirable:
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and executing automated tests, deploying software to the cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping us to continuously improve our software development processes.
• Deploy software to cloud environments with Jenkins and manual/automated testing
• Design and develop automation scenarios for building robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions
• Help develop and maintain in-house automation frameworks/tools for CI/CD
• Prepare testing data, proactively obtain and clarify requirements as necessary
• Review and analyze test execution results, report issues to the dev team, maintain all related test documentation
• Communicate and report daily task status updates to the client
• Conduct SQL data quality and functional/regression testing
