A leading Manufacturer of industrial equipment based in Middlewich are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver projects from cradle to grave for complex equipment used in a unique sector.

Reporting directly to the Engineering director you will be tasked with blank sheet design, in-depth 3D CAD work, FEA, prototyping, test & validation. The successful candidate will be experienced in dealing with clients and be eager to learn and work across R&D and customer projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to step up into a challenging design role. In return the company offer career progression as well a great company package including hybrid working.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
• Degree/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – SolidWorks or similar
• Experience working with Sheetmetal/ Fabrications
• FEA (desirable)
• Electrical/PLC experience (desirable)
• Marine experience (desirable)
