We are seeking to recruit a Design Engineer to join a young, innovative engineering firm who specialise in producing bespoke equipment used within the offshore, oil and gas sector. Our client is an expanding business who have been in operation for 10+ years and have grown to service markets in the UK, Europe & North America. Working between their offices in Belfast and County Tyrone you will play an important role in design and development projects.

Your new role

Joining a small team you will undertake R&D projects into new products & incremental improvements to existing products. You will be trusted with implementing a cloud-based ERP system, set standards for machinery and give final approval to products as well as plan and schedule production. You will take a lead role in product development and will resolve advanced engineering issues including aspects of design project planning and product testing. Our clients latest senior engineer will be trusted with... approving design changes, managing aspects of site installation, liaising with customers, managing contractors, and assisting in quoting for new business.

What You'll Need To Succeed

To prove a success as our client new Design Engineer you should be coming with a 3rd level qualification in an Engineering related discipline and have experience working in a similar role. You should have expertise in Computer Aided Design and the ability to develop products. You should have a full clean driving license, the ability to travel with excellent communication skills
