Airswift is seeking a Piping Engineer to work on an outsourced contract by Airswift with a major operator from Oil & Gas market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform risk-based follow-up of Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget and schedule. Provide Contractor(s) with input, clarifications and maintain contact as necessary.
• Secure technical integrity and barriers in design and execution within Piping discipline, and ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and technical requirements.
• Within own discipline, drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability.
• Ensure necessary dialogue with interfacing disciplines and contribute to resolving interface issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation
• Follow up delivery of life cycle information (LCI) within discipline
• Identify and contribute to handle relevant change proposals and requests to depart from a... requirement in TORG and contract (non-conformance requests (NCRs)/DISP) within set timeframes.
• During execution, support construction field engineers and take responsibility for decisions within own discipline within set timeframes, e.g., interdisciplinary input, handling of queries.
• Provide input to procurement activities within own discipline e.g., ITT documentation and process, equipment packages, long lead items, company provided items (CPI) as applicable.
• Contribute to planning and executing assurance activities.
• Contribute to a risk-based follow-up of Contractor’s activities providing input to risk identification and attending Risk management meetings.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and experience transfer: Secure good handover from previous project phase; source experiences from similar projects; involve discipline network, professional ladder and operations as necessary.
• Risk based follow up of supplier packages
• Company involvement in model reviews
• Contribute to improve multidiscipline coordination
• Early involvement and follow up of insulation scope to secure quality and to avoid late changes

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• MSc/BSc in Engineering
• Good knowledge of piping design for FPSO Topside modules.
• Familiar with equipment layout preparation and material handling studies
• 3D Model analysis and follow-up
• Familiar with relevant company requirements and internationally recognized standards (API, ASME)
• Experience from detail engineering – construction friendly design
• Fabrication experience is an advantage
