Job description :

Under the immediate supervision of the Engineering Department Manager, the Reliability and Maintenance Engineer participates in monitoring the performance of plant equipment, managing improvements and coordinating maintenance activities associated with integrity.

The tasks :
• In charge of optimizing and improving the reliability of production or operating equipment through preventive maintenance
• Anticipate malfunctions
• Predictive inspection of equipment, reliability studies
• Monitor and improve equipment performance indicators (KPIs)
• Manage failure investigations to identify causes... (RCA) and corrective actions
• Maintain the integrity program, plan inspections and supervise work.
• Support the engineering and maintenance teams for continuous improvement projects
• Participate in the bidding process and cost tracking
• Write documents for the maintenance program (preventive/predictive) and commissioning.
• Provide technical support to the operation and support on site during work

Skills and qualifications :
• University degree in mechanical engineering and be a member of the OIQ
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role and sector
• Knowledge of analysis tools such as (RCFA, HAZOP, RCM, KPI's)
• Experience with conditional maintenance and inventory management
• Fluent in French / English, both written and spoken
• Teamwork and communication skills with various levels of management
• Ability to work with initiative and leadership
• Available for occasional travel to the U.S.
